The Challenge
An innovative brand new to the marketplace wanted to build a strong presence in the media after a successful appearance on Shark Tank. The product had the potential to build awareness around it but appeared to be seasonal. The challenge for the ChicExecs team was to catch the media’s attention from the right angles at the right time.
The Strategy
ChicExecs PR launched a comprehensive national campaign to build brand awareness and drive traffic to the website through press features on TV and online media. Our main focus was creating word of mouth among our media partners and building a network of journalists from specific outlets focusing on comfort, family, and target audience. The goal was to make the product a household name by placing it on must-have gift lists year-round and supporting the extension of the brand with new product launches.
The Outcome
With dedicated teamwork and continuous collaboration between the brand and ChicExecs, we secured 261 media placements in one year, with an online readership of 5.64 billion. This successful campaign would continue well into the following year with increased visibility and interest from the media and consumers.
