The Challenge
A designer eyewear brand approached ChicExecs to develop a comprehensive PR strategy that would set the company apart from others providing blue light frames and lenses. The team was tasked to educate the media on why this technology is beneficial while focusing on trendy designs and fashion-forward styles appealing to consumers, in particular Gen Z and millennials.
The Strategy
A PR strategy was developed that helped our client reach consumers commonly using digital screens through national media coverage. The focus was how this stylish eyewear brand helps prevent digital eye strains, generating media interest and gaining new audiences.
The Outcome
The successful PR campaign resulted in 258 pieces in various media outlets, garnering a 4.54 billion online readership reach and 6.17 million views. The client was happy and consumers were now introduced to a new source of blue light eyewear and learned why it was important to the overall health of their vision.
