The Challenge
ChicExecs Retail was secured to assist a luxury beauty brand with a cult following expand its retail distribution, taking its significant social media presence and matching it with store placements.
The Strategy
Utilizing the brand’s high level of social reach and brand collaborations, our Retail Strategy team created a national cosmetics campaign targeting significant retailers. Our focus was to bring awareness to the brand’s desire to grow its wholesale business in the beauty market, working with beauty influencers to increase its image and popularity.
We tapped into the request of many makeup-obsessed consumers who knew of the brand but were discouraged by its lack of retail availability. Its fans’ emotional connection to the brand was front and center in our planning and execution.
The Outcome
The result garnered paramount sample requests, leading to major retail placements in 20 stores and a high level of P.O.s. The brand’s reputation of constantly pushing the makeup envelope with innovative products and beloved colors complemented by a strategic brand awareness campaign proved to be a winning formula.
